STEP 1 – PREPARE THE SKIN
The first essential step in your routine is to apply a primer to your face, before foundation, to prepare the skin and achieve a flawless result. The primer helps blur imperfections and allows your foundation to adhere perfectly, for makeup that lasts all day.
You don’t always need a primer. The most important thing is to find the right primer for your skin type, whether you have large pores, dry/combination/oily skin, texture issues, blemishes, etc.
How to Apply Foundation Properly for Beginners
After applying your moisturizer and sunscreen, apply a small amount to your fingers and massage a thin layer all over your face. We love Revolution’s Pore Blur Primer , which is perfect for smoothing skin before applying foundation.

STEP 2 – APPLY FOUNDATION

Light – natural coverage, lets skin show through.
Medium – covers most imperfections.
Total – covers all imperfections, the complexion is perfectly unified.
There are also different finishes. I suggest that beginners choose the foundation finish based on their skin type:
Dry skin – hydrating, luminous
Combination skin – semi-matte/satin
Oily skin – matte

How to Apply Foundation Properly for Beginners
Everyone has their own personal preference for applying foundation, but here are a few options to try! Apply with your finger for a soft, natural finish or use a SPLITTING BRUSH to apply a small amount of product.
Apply with a BRUSH WITH DENSE BRISTLES for higher coverage! A SPONGE is also great for custom coverage. After distributing the product with your finger over your face, dampen the sponge and gently pat the product in – you can add more if needed.
STEP 3 – APPLY CONCEALER
